Swiping Layers
In the midst of all of the paint pouring I’ve been doing, I’ve taken some time to focus on a more complex process that employs the same techniques. This piece started as a swipe with some funky earthtones. I removed a large portion of the first layer, and began taping off new layers on which I’d do a localized swipe. I finished it off with accent stabs of textured metallics and black, and a couple layers of epoxy resin for a nice glassy finish.
